Learn the basics of excavation and dating techniques and get your hands dirty putting them to use. Review local archaeology, including how to determine if an area is archaeologically sensitive, what diagnostic artifacts occur, and how current societal ethics and laws inform us.
Come join us at the Trailside Nature Museum to learn about the Reservation’s lye stone and how it was used in the process of soap making.
